BANSTEAD FESTIVAL

Well done to all our U11 girls who took part in the Banstead Festival today. We saw some very accurate bowling, great fielding on the boundary - and even a few fours!

We came joint third overall with Epsom, behind Reigate (runner’s up) and Spencer (the winning team) who ‘borrowed’ two Ashtead girls – Isabel Makroum & Faye Hitchins for the final. Well done girls for doing Ashtead CC proud.

Thanks to all the parents who supported the girls along the way with words of encouragement, and a big cheer for Kath Bates who made her Ashtead Girls’ coaching debut!

We look forward to seeing you all at training on Sunday 27th April.
