The U15s travelled to Stoke d'Abernon on a scorching Sunday morning in their penultimate Mid Surrey fixture of the season.
After losing the toss Ashtead bowled first and did a good job to restrict Stoke to 124-7 in their 24 overs with George Batchelor, Toby Woodward and Josh Gamber all being rewarded with 2 wkts each.
In reply, Ashtead soon found themselves on 6 for the loss of 4 wkts as the old ball was doing some very odd things on the surface - their umpire called it the worst wicket he'd seen there.
Bar George Batchelor who scored 32 not out, no one scored more than 6 as Ashtead were out for 75 in the 23rd over.
