Strong win for ACC U13 vs. Old Wimbledonians

On a glorious morning for cricket, Ashtead bowled out Old Wimbledonians in 10.1 overs for 24 runs at their Coombe Lane ground in Wimbledon. The bowling was accurate and the tidiest of the season. Sam Conlan, Parth Gupta, who was moving the ball well, and George Bustard all bagged 2 wickets each with George bowling 2 wicket maidens. Kishan Patel, Aidan Bennet and Oli Tubb also picked up a wicket each and Harry Amer bowled well. Connor Hindle took a great catch at cover and Joe Adams made an impressive debut as wicket keeper. Positive encouragement and backing up in the field was good to see.

Danny Adams opened the batting on his debut with captain Daniel Fisher and they scored 2 and 18 not out respectively to reach 28 for 0 off 4.5 overs. Another excellent all round team performance.
