2 wins in a week for U9s

Performance of the season in this match. Having won the toss Ashtead elected to bowl and produced a solid display with 3 wickets each for Perkins and Goodin, 1 a piece for Graham and McLoughlin and a fine all round fielding performance.

Chasing a total of 255 the boys knew they could bat sensibly and pick the shots to run without needing to chase the game. All four pairs producing good statistics with 24 for McLoughlin & Perkins, 38 for Fraser-Ker and Hutter with top scoring Fraser-Ker hitting 16 off the bat, 24 for Brockes & Gwyther and 36 from the final pair of Graham & Goodin.

This performance was fantastic with shots played on the ground,solid running between the wicket without taking silly risks and confident calling. All the boys without exception were 'in the zone' in this match.
