Rain washes out game again

Ashtead won the toss and put Sunbury in to bat with rain looming at Box Hill School. The score rocketed to 46 as the Sunbury opener Sharma was aggressive on anything wide or full, taking 18 off one Rose over before Aaron got Soni caught behind in his very next over. 2 overs later he had another wicket in the same way.

Sharma had rattled along to 80 off 53 balls before he was well caught by Caprano-Wint in the deep and Sunbury found themselves 112-3. Spin was introduced and as last week quickly broke through as Caprano-Wint picked up 2 wickets bowled in the final over before rain washed the game out.

Ashtead were looking in a good position with just 24 overs gone, but the weather had the last say.
