Five wickets from James Graham help secure win over Sutton

In the final 50 overs match before converting to time games, Ashtead secured a 20 point win over Sutton. Put into bat Ashtead started watchfully and made steady progress throughout the innings, finishing all out in the final over with the score on 198, Sean Wallace (46) and Nick Gavin-Brown (36) the top scores.

In reply, Sutton suffered a collapse early on finding themselves 36-5 in the first 12 overs as James Graham took all 5 wickets to fall with some very disciplined bowling, his final figures were 7-2-18-5. A couple of partnerships interspersed with some lusty blows from Moore saw the Sutton score gain momentum, but wickets started fall regularly and finally Sutton succumbed 138 all out in the 35th over.

A great win for Ashtead who travel to Dulwich next weekend.
