Another crucial win for 3s

The 3s traveled to Sutton for a key game in the tail end of the season, having lost the toss we were asked to bat which proved the right move for Sutton as their first ball brought a wicket with Sam Gale adjudged LBW.

Wint and Dotilava consolidated, but with a few wickets the Stags found themselves at 44-4 but the 100 partnership from Paul Sidwell (89) and Harry Williams (45) was crucial to allow the posting of 206 in our 48 overs. The covers came on at tea and st ayed on for a prolonged time, but came off with Sutton adjusting their target off 44 overs.

The Ashtead bowling was strong and the two Culhane steamers bowled well, bu the inclusion to Connor Caprano-Wint's (2 wkts) leg spin and Dotilava's (4 wkts) seam proved key to skittle Sutton for just 97 in 33 overs.
