A massive thank you to all of you who provided messages of support for our recent funding application to the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). Having presented to a panel from the CIL team, I am delighted to say that our application was 100% successful and we now have a grant available of £75k towards the £200k-plus cost of our pavilion upgrade.

The support which we were able to demonstrate through your messages was hugely powerful and made a big impact on the panel, so thank you for your time and support.

We have two further applications to other funders outstanding and are busy looking at other sources of funding - I will update you on these as and when we have news to report.

£75k is a great start and the fact that we have support from one major funder will hopefully make our important community project more interesting to others.
