Format and Tournament Rules:
 6 Teams are invited to play
 Each team will play each other once
 8 players per team
 7 overs per innings
 Every team member, except the WK bowls 1 Over
 Any No-Balls or Wides bowled shall count as 2 runs plus whatever other runs are gained but with No Extra Ball awarded, except in the final over of the innings normal laws of cricket shall prevail.
 For any No Balls – The next ball will be a Free Hit
 In all matches a batsman will retire upon reaching 30 runs; however, the player can resume his innings at the fall of the last wicket. If a batsman is involved in the final pair and reaches 30, he may continue until the innings is closed.
 Any team batting second shall continue to bat out their full number of overs even if they have surpassed the team batting first’s total.
 In all matches no player shall bat in the same position more than once. Opening the batting shall be deemed the same position. Teams can name any batting order in the 3 / 4 place and Final.
 The pitch length’s will be 18 yrds
 For all matches a 4 ¾ oz Cricket Ball will be used.
 No player can field within 11 yrds from the striking batsman, except when a player is fielding in the slip area (Offside Only).
 Points: 3 Points for a Win, 2 Points for a Tie and 1 Point for a Loss
 After all matches have been completed the two teams with the most points shall progress to the final, the other two teams shall play for the 3 & 4 place.
 If after all round robin matches have been completed, two or more teams have gained the same number of points, positions will be determined, firstly: The number of runs scored, then the number of wickets taken. If still unresolved, the teams involved shall have a bowl out.
 Bowl-Outs: Each team member excluding the wicket-keeper shall bowl one ball at a set of unmanned stumps. No balls and wides shall be counted as a ball bowled and not retaken, any hits from no balls shall not be recorded. The team with the most hits recorded by the umpires shall be deemed the winners. If the number of hits are equal after both teams have completed their allocated deliveries, a sudden death system shall be introduced.
 Trophy and Medals: Presentation will take place 10 mins after the completion of both the ¾ play off and final.
 Each team are asked to provide an Umpire & Scorer for each match. After each match, score sheets should be delivered to the tournament scorer, who will be located in the pavilion. Score sheets will be available on the match day.
 The competition will start at 1.30pm. Match managers are asked to meet in the pavilion at 1.00pm, just to run through any queries.
 Costs: To help cover some of the costs of the day, each team will be asked to pay a £50 entry fee.
 The club bar and kitchen will be open throughout the event offering Lunches and Snacks.
