Second XI - season review
The 4th division proved to be a strange league this year, with a noticeable gap in quality between the top and bottom of the table. This meant that Ashtead, despite having a very strong side, were never secure in promotion or the championship until the second to last weekend – with 157 points already acquired!

First XI - season review and averages
The first eleven’s season was heavily affected by the inclement weather. While only two matches succumbed completely to the rain, and while finishing fourth in the competitive First Division, the new and improved 2007 Ashtead side failed to impress during those stop-start matches that plagued the early summer.
